Vincent Price's House of Wax villain gets sculpted into a collectible action figure

-->
From Distinctive Dummies comes a fantastic new 12" figure featuring Vincent Price as disfigured sculptor turned demented killer Henry Jarrod from 1953’s classic murder mystery, The House of Wax.

Artist Steve Thompson has done a great job in capturing Price’s likeness under the gruesome fire scarred makeup and this is certainly one I’ll be adding to my collection, which already includes all four of Distinctive Dummies Mego-style Price figures from the two Dr Phibes films, Madhouse and The Masque of the Red Death, as well as the 12" figure of Price as Frederick Loren in The House on Haunted Hill (which came in colour and mono versions).

Distinctive Dummies' Vincent Price Red Death action figure snapped up in record time

In the last of their first wave of Vincent Price figures, Distinctive Dummies have won the race in releasing the first-ever action figure based on Price as the scarlet faced Red Death from Roger Corman's cult 1964 horror hit, The Masque of the Red Death. The folks over at Amok Time have been promising collectors a 12inch version for a couple of years now, but the date remains undetermined. Only 50 of Distinctive Dummies' 8inch figures were produced, making them highly covetable. Indeed, all 50 were snapped up on the day of its release. Were you one of the lucky ones!

Distinctive Dummies unveil their Vincent Price as Paul Toombes in Madhouse Megostyle Action Figure

From Distinctive Dummies comes their third action figure in their Vincent Price collection: it's Paul Toombes from Madhouse (1974). Limited to just 50, this really is a covetable item. The sculpt is by Steve Thompson sculpt, while the artwork is by Robert Aragon.
